At a time when life before Covid seems a long, long time ago, what better way to lighten a winter day in lockdown than to lose yourself in a good book, tell a story, and pay a visit to Bookland?
This February, we are keeping spirits raised with Adventures in Bookland, a celebration of the magic of stories, of creativity and make-believe, and the chance to spark the excitement of entering the parallel universe of stories, tales, poems and fables.
Pupils from early years to Year 6 in schools across the GDST family will have the chance to attend author talks online, enjoy virtual story times, and join book clubs to share and discuss their favourite books.
